April 2, 2016 - 6:30pm

Join the Driftless Market on Saturday, April 2nd at 6:30pm for the Healthy Hoe-Down Dance with the Catherine Gorman-Baer & Grandpa's Elixir Stringband

Folklore Village Healthy Hoe-Downs are fun-filled evenings with a potluck and traditional American dances, including old-time squares, New England contras and Appalachian, Southern, and Midwestern big circles. No experience or special costume required. Families and beginners are always welcome! Folklore Village's barn dances this season will highlight a local, sponsoring farm and be called "Healthy Hoe-Downs." We think connecting our local, sustainable farms with our barn dances brings back a basic partnership that once thrived in rural communities.

The Healthy Hoe-Downs start with a 6:30 POTLUCK, or you can arrive after potluck for the dancing.
$7 adults ($5.00 if you pick up a coupon at the store!), $5 seniors & teens, $4 kids  Kids under 5 admitted free.
