Interested in contributing to improving the sustainability of Platteville and Platteville's Main Street? Join us for our monthly sustainability committee meeting. To date we have utilized volunteers and community resources to initiate recycling at Dairy Days, applied for funding to host a creative bike rack design project that if funded will add additional bike racks to the main street area in a CREATIVE WAY, and worked with the Library and State Theaters to plan regular offerings of "green" documentaries (watch for viewings of Bag It in November). No idea is too crazy. Come check it out.
