June 18, 2014 - 9:00am to 11:00pm

Due to the fact that we have been without power for over 24 hours, in the interest of safety we have had to discard and compost much of the refrigerated and frozen foods.

We will be restocking things as we can and still have plenty of items on the shelves, with orders coming in  each day.

Thanks again to everyone for their offers to help and for our distributors and vendors who have worked with us to get product back in ASAP.

May 31, 2014 - 6:00pm

Vikki Peterson is back in the DM kitchen, and this time not only is she working with Cena, but she is bring her husband John into the kitchen as well. Come and join all three of them as they prepare an Advanced Indian (as in India, not Native American) Meal.

They will be making aloo bonda (potato fritter appetizers), malai kofta (squash  croquettes in tomato curry), masoor dal (red lentil dish), South Indian cabbage, naan, raita, Basmati rice, and Chai. Fun Fact: Chai means tea, so saying chai tea is redundant.

You’re Invited! We hope that you will be able to attend the 2nd Annual Platteville Bicycle Festival on Friday, May 16th beginning at 5pm on Main Street. See complete details below.

Thanks to the creative designs of several local and regional artists and metal workers, Platteville’s Main Street district will welcome 4 additional creative bike racks to the landscape, as well as a Platteville Middle School and High School collaborative bike rack whose future home will be Legion Park.  The creative designs were submitted in response to a competition, which was organized and managed by the Platteville Main Street Sustainability Committee and generously funded by a grant from the Platteville Community Fund, funds from the Platteville Main Street program and the City of Platteville/Safe Routes program.  This is the second year of what is now an annual Bicycle Festival at the end of National Bike to Work Week which supports the communities growing interest in biking, recreational trails and healthy / active lifestyles in our community.
