About The Facilitator:
My name is Kylie and I'm a mental health therapist and clinical social worker from Lincoln, Nebraska. In addition to journaling and planning, I enjoy my yoga practice, cats, mindfulness, reading, long walks in my neighborhood, and tidying.
Kylie’s Experience with Bullet Journal and Workshops/Classes:
Since childhood, I used a plethora of planners and journals, but I when I learned about the Bullet Journal system in May 2016, I knew I'd encountered something that might work better for me. I've been hooked ever since! I taught the Bullet Journal model and skills twice at a local nonprofit organization, then twice at a small craft shop, and just recently at our community college in Lincoln. What I love the most about the Bullet Journal system is that it is a set of skills that can be applied to any lifestyle to enhance mindfulness, organization, goal achievement, and habit changes. It's a structure I've used to build my own style of planning that works for me and can change and evolve as necessary.
What the Workshop Will Cover:
During this workshop, we'll discuss what Bullet Journal is as a system, including the philosophies behind it and the basic principles. We'll have a brief word about supplies (hint: all you really need is a notebook and a writing utensil you like!) Then we'll talk about ways to make it work for you as an individual with lots of time for questions and examples. You'll get a chance to see the evolution of my Bullet Journal style and then try the skills out for yourself.
