Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Cookies

Description

A simple and delicious whole wheat cookie.

Ingredients

  • 1 c Peanut Butter
  • 1⁄2 c butter, softened
  • 1⁄2 c honey
  • 1⁄2 c brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1⁄4 c whole wheat flour
  • 1 t baking powder

Instructions

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, mix together butter, honey, brown sugar, peanut butter, and egg until smooth.
- Add flour and baking powder; mix until combined.
- Roll into balls (dip in sugar, if desired). Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until edges are slightly browned.
- Cool on a wire rack.

Notes

These cookies do not flatten very much--will be a rounder, bulkier cookie.
