Easy to make Breakfast Snack that can be made ahead in a larger batch. Everyone in the family will love.

Almond Butter (can use other nut butter)

Agave Necter or Local Honey
1 c
Rolled Oats (can be gluten free)
1 c
Ground Flax Seed Meal
1 c
Chocolate or Carob Chips
1 c
reduced sugar dried cranberries (Process in food processor)
1 c
Mixed nuts and seeds (any mix of favorite nuts and seeds is fine, process in food processor before mixing in with other ingredients)

Protien Powder (Chocolate Whey Powder is good)
cinnamon powder


Mix together the oats, flax meal, almond butter, whey protein, and agave/honey. Then add the mix of nuts, seeds and dried fruit (after they have been through the food processor). Finally, add in the Chocolate or Carob chips and cinnamon powder to taste. Mix well and roll them into 1 inch balls. Put them in an oiled glass cake pan and refrigerate until you want to take them out to eat. Can be frozen.


Additional ingredients could be added or substituted. Some suggestions include shredded coconut, coconut oil, and peanut butter instead of almond butter.
